Hello....welcome to my blog.

Let me tell you a little bit about us. We are a family of 4 living in Texas, where we basically only have two seasons. Summer and if we are lucky, winter. My husband (who goes by Doodle, a nickname he has had since he was a toddler) and I have been married since 1995 and have two beautiful girls, Kristyn & Ryleigh. I have been a SAHM since March 2009 and absolutely LOVE it. I wish I would have bitten the bullet and quit my job a long time ago but was too scared. I am also a substitute teacher for our school district. Being a substitute gives me the opportunity to be involved with our kids and get to know their teachers on a more personal level. It also gives me the opportunity to get to know more of the girls friends, which to me is very important. Our hobbies basically are our girls and their activities which include, basketball, softball, volleyball & track. I love the fact that I get to stay at home and be so involved with them.
